Arnold Hustad

In his spare time, Arnold Hustad liked to occupy himself with the course of war in Norway between 1940 and 1945. After an extensive research – for example in the archive of the Norwegian Ministry of Defence – he decided to search for relatives of the aviator that was buried in Sæbø. Arnold Hustad went to the Austrian Embassy in Oslo and asked for a Viennese telephone book. After he had found out the addresses of all persons named „Kindt“, he wrote a letter and sent it to them, which set the ball rolling.
